Today on my walk I saw so many different shapes of leaves. And lots of Autumn leaves too. \u00a0Here is a picture of just a few. You will find many more leaves with lots of different edges, shapes, textures and colours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How many can you find?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can you name the trees from which they fell?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the photo are gum leaves, oak leaves, a jacaranda leaf, which has\nlots of smaller leaves together, rose, peach, Manchurian pear, plane tree leaf,\n(large and crunchy brown), dark red vine leaf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You could share a picture of leaves you collect from your walk or from\nyour garden!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You could send us a small story about your walk, or what you see in your\ngarden?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would love to hear from you and so would Coventry and the other\nbears!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love looking at leaves. Here are my thoughts\ntoday about them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LEAVES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some leaves like growing long and thin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other leaves go out and in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some leaves just think they have the smarts<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because they\u2019re made of several parts!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best leaves I have ever seen<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prefer to change their colour green.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The leaves that I like best of all<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go red and yellow, then they fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And often they go crinkly brown<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So Autumn winds will blow them down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And do you know what happens then?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I am passing with a friend<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We say together with a smile<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhy don\u2019t we stay a little while<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And make the leaves into a pile?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, we jump and jump, as children do!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wonder if you\u2019ll do that too?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
