The Great War in Great Outlines….a special travelling exhibition in September

We have a Very Unique Event coming up in September.

In collaboration with the Kingdom of Belgium through their Australian Embassy, the Coventry Library and many of our neighbouring Historical Societies, we present the only South Australian appearance of this WW1 travelling exhibition, along with our own special publications of local interest in our Poppy Series.

Be sure to make time to come and view this display.

2017 Membership Renewal

Dear Members,

It is that time of year again to begin renewal of memberships. Members should receive the latest Membership Renewal form via email or post or you can download it at the link below.

New Members are welcome and can obtain information and forms from the History Centre in the Coventry Library at Stirling on any day except Monday between 2 and 4pm

We look forward to your continued support of the Historical Society which grows in strength from year to year. In fact we welcomed 13 new members in 2016.

The second of two Flinders Columns is underway and on track to be issued early April 2017. It promises to be a delightful edition with a focus primarily on the local railway.

Our year ahead of Events is looking quite diverse with one or two exciting events still to be revealed at our AGM on 31st March so we do hope you can make it to this gathering.

Kathy Inverarity will be taking on the role of Membership Officer this year as I complete my final year of study at Flinders University. I will still be present within the society in a less active role however I have no doubt you will be in good hands.

In the interim enjoy the rest of your summer and we look forward to seeing you at the AGM in March.

Best regards,

Sandra
